Once of the worst things you can do for your productivity is to have a messy, cluttered workspace. Whether you have stacks of paperwork to organize or several cups of cold coffee sitting around, your workspace should remain free of everything you don’t immediately need. Giving yourself free space leaves more room for your work.

Surround Yourself with Items You Enjoy

Your workspace doesn’t have to be bare! Bring in a potted plant, some photos of your family/pets, or other knick-knacks that make you smile. By making your workspace your own, you’ll be more likely to spend time there. Just don’t overload your home office with clutter and keep your main working surface clean.
