Gemline was founded by Sam Isaacson in 1958. The company has over 350 employees worldwide, and is headquartered in Lawrence, Massachusetts, where they maintain an integrated manufacturing and distribution center. Gemline also has a technical center in Southern China providing Supply Chain management functions across the region. This includes product development, sourcing, quality assurance, compliance and logistics.

Gemline’s in-house team designs and builds most products in their line. The team conducts ongoing research to uncover the latest cultural and design trends to create thoughtfully designed, high quality, trend-right products that are meaningful and relevant to what customers want and value. These products are marketed and sold under multiple house brands including, Aviana, Gemline®, Gourmet Expressions®, Heritage Supply Company, Life in Motion®, Travis & Wells® and Vertex®.

For those products they don’t design, they have taken great care in developing partnerships with trusted consumer brands that complement the line, giving customers the best selection of innovative, smart and highly desirable products at a wide variety of price points.
